I recently learned that there has been a push in the UK to ban the old version of this song (which dates back to the 1891) and replace it with a new PC friendly version. www.dailymail.co.uk
I think this is outrageous and stupid! So before anyone deletes all reference to it on the Internet, I wanted to post it here! I especially like the references to th Captian's Daughter, although I have heard that they are really references to flogging. (cockney slang)
